The Quake II Monster Guide

Never in my life have I found a complete, in-depth monster list for Quake II or any of its expansion packs. My aim is to fix that.

Gunner monster_gunner 175 annoying grenade lords are annoying
Berserker monster_berserk 240 A fast running enemy whos only attack is a sharp sword-like limb. They can send you flying across a room.
Parasite monster_parasite 175 A small mechanical unit that runs on all fours. Have no illusions; this monster is deadly. It approaches your general area and extends a tube-like limb, which sucks your health out.
Flyer monster_flyer 50 These small, hovering machines are the first flying creatures you encounter in the single player game, and can prove to be quite a nuisance. They tend to like ambushes from above. As with Icarus, Flyers navigate well and have a Melee as well as projectile attack. Don't dismiss them after you have run down a twisting set of hallways.
Barracuda Shark monster_flipper 50 A fish that attacks you.
Medic monster_medic 300 When these come around, you better make sure that the other monsters' dead bodies are gibbed. If they aren't, the Medic is able to resurrect them. It also has a powerful blaster as its main attack.
Gladiator monster_gladiator 400 Gladiators are very dangerous foes. When a Gladiator is created, a human torso is mounted atop a set of powerful mechanical legs, and a railgun is attached to one of its shoulders. These monsters can be easy or really hard, depending on whether or not others are around. Get a couple of them on your tail and you could be in for some real trouble.
Icarus monster_hover 240 It navigates well and fires its blaster well. This creature is basically a hovering assault unit, which can track you well through levels and blast you with searing energy bolts. Icarus is a tough monster.

Iron Maiden monster_chick 175 A chick that fires rockets at you. Enough said.
Brain monster_brain ? ---
Tank monster_tank 750 ---
Tank Commander monster_tank_commander 1000 A Tank with more HP. If you look closely, you will find that it has a different symbol on its chest.
Supertank monster_supertank ? The only "tank" in Quake II that actually resembles a tank. Be careful, this thing has a rocket launcher like all of the other tanks. This may look like a boss at first (with the presentation and everything), but you encounter it more than once in the standard mission set alone.
Hornet monster_boss2 2000 A giant flying enemy, which you first encounter in the level "biggun". Beware its rocket launcher.
Jorg (Boss 1/2) monster_jorg 3000 Boss. This is the first 'stage' of the BOSS2 map, where you face Makron inside his suit (called 'Jorg'). When you see explosions, you killed the suit but you have to face Makron 'in the flesh'.

Makron (Boss 2/2) monster_makron 3000 Boss. This is who comes out of Jorg: a smaller, yet jumpier boss. Watch out for his head (it's a freakin' railgun)!

Quake II: The Reckoning Monsters (xatrix)

Description

Gekk monster_gekk 125 The Gekk is the first totally unique new monster you'll see in this expansion. They attack in packs, and have both a ranged blaster attack as well as a hand-to-hand attack. Be careful; Gekks are able to swim. According to one of the functions in their source code, Gekks regenerate random amounts of health from 10 to 20 (?).
Guard (Ripper) monster_soldier_ripper ? ---
Guard (Hyperblaster) monster_soldier_hypergun ? ---
Guard (Laser Gun) monster_soldier_lasergun ? ---
Enforcer, Beta Class monster_infantry ? They are completely identical to Enforcers, except for the fact that they shoot first, and reload after. This makes them more annoying, since you have less time to react. Note that the code for this monster is written over the original infantry code. This means that you cannot spawn the original Quake II monster_infantry in The Reckoning.
Repair Bot monster_fixbot ? This is a little drone that doesn't attack you as long as you don't attack it.
Gladiator, Beta Class monster_gladb 1700 This is a Gladiator with a Phalanx Particle Launcher instead of a Railgun. This version of the Gladiator also has a shield, making it harder to kill one of these.
Iron Maiden, Beta Class monster_chick_heat ? This version of the Iron Maiden is reskinned and her rockets are heatseeking. Have fun.
Brain, Beta Class monster_brain ? A Brain with a longer tentacle. This one grabs you from across the room. Again, the code for this monster is written over the original monster_brain.
Supertank, Beta Class monster_boss5 2400 A Supertank with a shield. And you though Supertanks were hard to kill. Just whip out your Quad Damage and you should be fine.

Quake II: Ground Zero Monsters (rogue)

Kamikaze Flyer monster_kamikaze ? Take a wild guess
Stalker monster_stalker ? This spider-like unit is able to fire lasers and claw you to death. The annoyance doesnt stop there; this unit can also walk on walls and ceilings. Creepy, huh?
Daedalus monster_daedalus ? An Icarus with a crapload of health and shield.
Automated Defense Turret monster_turret ? ---
Medic Commander monster_medic_commander ? This is a more powerful Medic, which can spawn Enforcers in addition to its other skills.
Carrier monster_carrier ? Boss. A flying thing that defends a hangar.
Black Widow I monster_widow 4000 Boss. This is the first boss in the map "Black Widow's Lair".
Black Widow II monster_widow2 5000 Boss. After you are done with Black Widow I, this thing jumps out from a wall. This "black widow" actually looks like a spider.

Zaero Boss (?) monster_zboss ? Boss. Found on the last level of the Zaero expansion pack. A real shit disturber.
